SendThisFile Helps Wichita Neighbors
A Saturday morning that starts at a chilling 28 degrees is a good excuse to stay inside with a cup of coffee. But it wasn’t too cold for the team at SendThisFile as we rallied at a Wichita Habitat for Humanity build. As the sun rose and the hard work kept us moving, everyone quickly warmed up and happily made this new home a reality for Habitat clients, Adriana and Florentino.
Our team started the day in new black SendThisFile T-shirts, and it took no time at all to break them in. By noon everyone was covered in a solid coating of sheetrock dust!
This was one of the last community builds with Habitat for Humanity for 2014, and we’re glad we didn’t miss this chance to come together to help strengthen the community by helping families realize the dream of home ownership. Working with Wichita’s Habitat for Humanity is a labor of love for the SendThisFile team, and one we look forward to doing more of in 2015.
Thanks to John, Dan, Aaron, Zach, and Rick for contributing their time on a Saturday morning to such a positive cause, and to Robin for coordinating the event for us. Being able to lend our time and abilities to help secure a neighbor’s future is a humbling privilege.
